Our leather is easy to look after and needs very little cleaning. Easily polish out scratches and marks to keep your bag looking beautiful.
CLEAN YOUR LEATHER
Cleaning your leather is easy – just dip a clean cloth in a solution of soap and water and gently wipe the surface of your bag to have it looking as good as new in no time.
Grease stains on a handbag can be panic inducing, but don’t worry – with our leather they’re easy to remove. Crush some household chalk and rub the dust carefully on to the stain. Allow 24 hours for the chalk to take effect.
CONDITION YOUR BAG
Our favourite product for keeping leather supple is Skidmore’s leather cream. Whilst there are many other good leather care products out there, we think Skidmore’s is the best.
Using chemical cleaners and conditioners can damage the surface of your leather bag. We believe natural care for natural materials is the best option.
WHEN IT RAINS...
Try to avoid getting your bag wet, but don’t worry if you get caught in the rain. Blot any droplets of water away immediately and let the bag dry naturally away from a direct source of heat. Avoid putting your bag next to a radiator or using a hairdryer. Instead, fill the bag with newspaper to absorb the moisture and speed up the drying process.
LET IT BREATHE
Store your bag in a breathable cotton dust bag when you’re not using it.
Please note that these care guidelines are for cow leather. Different instructions may apply when dealing with other types of leather. However, these tips and tricks don’t just apply to leather bags. Any cow leather products such as jackets or couches can benefit from these care instructions.
