For delicious coffee and cinnamon rolls, I would go to Zeit für Brot. But, if you are in the mood for the very best coffee, I would suggest a trip to Reeham where they can even decorate a cappuccino with your own selfie.

I would recommend taking a canoe trip on the Spree, a bunker tour through the underbelly of Berlin, visiting the Eastside Gallery with the longest surviving section of the Berlin Wall or simply rummaging through the many vintage shops in Berlin, you will always find one or two treasures.

Spend an evening at a Späti, queue at Mustafas Gemüse Kebap (a cult favourite for kebabs) and go to the Berghain for a true Berlin clubbing experience – this way you are sure to come into contact with the locals.

The Grace Restaurant in the Hotel Zoo is a sumptuous fine dining experience.

The Monkey Bar overlooking Berlin Zoo is the most magical place to spend the rest of your evening.

I personally love rummaging through flea markets in Berlin, in particular the Mauerpark market. Then you can relax at the quayside near the Oberbaumbrücke or take a walk through the Tiergarten and stop at the Café am Neuen See for a drink or boat trip.

Certainly either the ParkInn roof terrace or the Hi-Flyer at Checkpoint Charlie.

The best brunch is at The Reed with the live DJ, though it is most fun with some good friends. I would also recommend Benedict. They serve breakfast 24 hours a day and do the very best pancakes in the city.
