Each duffel from the Flero collection essentially has the same timeless design and functional construction, from the the floor to floor zip opening and the detachable leather shoulder strap. They however suit different purposes dependent on what your lifestyle requires. For weekends away or quick business trips, the Flero Small and Medium accommodate perfectly, offering a practical and refined duffel for the discerning traveller. The Large and Extra Large provide the additional liters necessary for longer vacations and trips away from home.

Boasting a quintessentially British style, the Flero family is our most classic range of luggage. From the buckled brass straps to the understated and classic shape, the Flero collection makes a statement in an unassuming yet powerful way. With its aesthetic roots steeped in British heritage being enough to make it stand out in the airport lounge, its impeccable Italian craftsmanship simply adds to the luxuriousness it exudes. Its rich vegetable-tanned hue, whether in tan or brown or classic black, ensures that it will complement all types of travel wardrobes.

For overnight stays, the Flero Small will be your right hand man. Its design differs slightly in that it has been altered to suit its purpose. The buckled straps have been removed in order to suit its size and ensure it does not look cumbersome for a more streamlined finish. Additionally, it is distinctive in that it is the only duffel to feature an external slip pocket. This provides quick and easy access to your important belongings whilst travelling such as your passport and reservation documents.

At its core, the Flero Small is still incredibly similar to the other duffels in the collection. It includes the same floor to floor zip opening, metal studs on the base and durable carry handles. The Medium, Large and Extra Large provide an adjustable and detachable leather shoulder strap for an alternative way to carry your Flero as you travel – a welcomed feature if you have several bags to carry. The buckled leather straps on these sizes provide additional security to ensure your belongings are protected as you travel the globe.

Our signature leather, derived from western hides, is sourced from Italy. Known as vachetta in the industry, this full grain leather boasts impeccable durability and quality due to its natural character. It is left entirely unshaven, allowing the tightest structure, the full grain layer, to remain intact. This is pulled from the saddleback section of the hide, the strongest part, to ensure optimum longevity. Here, the fibers are compacted and knit tightly to ensure a strong material that will endure years and years of wear. As this type of leather is left to embrace its natural character, folds and creases are often apparent on the surface of our duffels; a clear sign of quality and distinctiveness.

Our signature vachetta leather, used to craft the Flero luggage collection, is naturally dyed using organic extracts such as chestnut and mimosa. The hides are soaked for up to fourteen days to achieve a deep and earthy tone. As this leather is tanned without chemicals, the grain is left to breathe; exposed to the elements. It is the perfect canvas for a patina to develop on the grain and as this leather ages, it will become more distinctive and characterful with every trip you take with your Flero.
