    I bought this strap for a black leather camera bag. The bag itself had silver coloured buckles and this strap matched perfectly. It is also very comfortable, carries weight very well and looks and feels excellent. It is strong and durable, and well worth the money, as I doubt it will ever need to be replaced.

    Bought it to replace the thinner strap on my favourite soft leather shoulder bag. It clips onto the metal loops of the bag perfectly and the flexible pad on the strap is so comfortable to wear. It is beautifully made of top quality leather.

    The hook that came with my bag would do up, so I ordered this one. I was concerned that if the hook wasn't that strong it would be easy for it to be snatched. Well with this it won't be. Both the strap and the hooks are really strong. Not the cheapest but will last for years.

    5 Luxury Black Leather Bag Strap
    Had to replace a strap on my 12-month-old premium leather office bag, one of the pivoting clasps that clip failed, this strap whilst of identical quality in terms of the leather had much stronger strong clasps, in fact, they could do quite some damage if they hit someone as they appear to be solid 4mm thick chrome-plated steel! Well, at least I know that when the bag needs replacing the strap will still be in perfect working order...

    I highly recommend this item. The price on this may have gone up some, I bought one some time ago. This is a VERY GOOD strap. One of the frequent problems with such items is that the metal is often a very low quality, planned obsolescence type of metal that I believe is called "pot metal", almost something like metal manufacturing leftover scrap materials, and the mechanism when a strap is made of that will tend to bend out of shape or break, or bend out of shape and then break when you bend it back. I bought this strap back more than a year and a half ago. I am kind of rough as far as loading a bag up a lot and was using the strap to often walk four miles a day to a bus plus sometimes hanging groceries off the bag on the way back. What I say then is not typical entirely typical use But the strap lasted and lasted and lasted in spite of my putting great strain on it. It lasted a lot longer than any strap I had ever had, perhaps about a year and a half or more, when straps usually gave out on me in, perhaps, two months. One day it broke. I had overpacked my bag and then had additional materials hanging from it. This may sound silly, but I actually felt saddened, because I had been able to depend upon this strap like no other. Then the thought occurred to me to check on whether there was a guarantee. There was, and although I had to mail the strap in to them, they promptly, courteously, without question or grumbling fixed it. If you are an actor or actress in a movie and pretending to carry something for a scene, you will not need this strap. But if you have to depend on a strap to carry a bit of weight and you need for it to last, I highly recommend this strap. And if you ARE an actor or actress in a movie and pretending to carry something for a scene, try to get the producer to supply you with this strap with the stipulation that you will be allowed to take it home.

    When the old strap on my much-loved briefcase broke, I found this replacement. I wanted a new strap that was equally as elegant and sturdy as my bag. This was it! The brown strap I ordered is high-quality and just right. Now the entire bag feels new.

    Can I send my gift directly to the recipient’s address?

    Yes - there are no receipts to remove as we are now paperless, ensuring your gifting experience remains special. If you’ve chosen our gift-wrapping service, we can also personalize the notecard for you. Please enter your personal message in the box on the product page when selecting gift wrap as an option and we will hand write your message with care.

    N.B. Please note that if payment is made with an American Express Card, the delivery can only be made to the billing address for the card. This is required of us by American Express.

    Can my loved one exchange their gift for another colour or style?

    We’re sure they’ll love it, however just to offer you that peace of mind, we gladly accept exchanges and returns within 60 days of receipt of goods. This excludes personalized items that cannot be returned.

    How soon can my order be delivered?

    For UK orders, Next Working Day Delivery is free or Timed Next Working Day Delivery is available at a small cost. For US orders, Standard Delivery free or Express Delivery is available at a small cost. For AUS orders, there is only the option of Express Delivery, which is free. Kindly note that personalized gifts will take 24-48 hours longer to process and be delivered, even if the Next Working Day or Express Delivery is selected. Personalized orders will be sent on the selected delivery service once the personalization has been applied to the product.

    We pay attention to every detail, ensuring that all of our products are carefully wrapped and attentively presented as standard, with our Maxwell-Scott monogrammed tissue paper and emblem sticker. To add an extra special touch, we offer a gift wrapping service to professionally wrap your gifts with luxury, environmentally friendly materials. This additional service can be applied to your order for USD$16.00. Smaller goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box wrapped in bespoke matte-finish navy paper, ribbon and gift card. Larger goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box, finished with ribbon and a gift card. Our premium quality gift wrap is made using 70% recycled materials, FSC certified paper and is fully biodegradable and compostable.

    Positioning

    The placement of the lettering is unique to each product, our professional in-house embossing team uses their skill and experience to determine the very best placement according to the product. You’ll be able to find an example of the lettering positioning within the imagery on each product page.

    Additionally, if you have any further questions regarding the positioning of the letters or how many letters will fit on a specific product please contact us via the Contact Us page.

    Pricing

    The price for embossing is a $20 flat fee for up to 6 characters. If you require specialised personalization with more than 6 characters or complex positioning, we can arrange this as a bespoke option with additional costs incurred.     Please note that our Croco leather cannot be embossed due to the textured finish of the leather.

    Due to the bespoke nature of our premium in-house embossing process, please allow an additional 48h for personalized items, particularly during busy periods. Where possible, we will endeavour to send out your items within the first 24 hours. Please note that unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items that have been personalized as they have been uniquely crafted to meet your specifications. If you’re unsure, we’re more than happy for you to purchase an item and return it to us to be embossed, once you are pleased with your purchase.
