    Really excellent man bag. Excellent packaging and delivery. good website info, navigation and buying. My 10.1 tablet in it's case fits in the back compartment. I wanted a bag that had a top handle and a shoulder strap which not all have. After many hours of online searching this was the one. My wife asked me to order her a ladies rucksack straight after me ordering this one. They will take years to soften up, the aroma of the new leather is absolutely wonderful. Many thanks for a thoroughly well made product that will last years.

    5 A gorgeous messenger bag quietly murmuring its excellence and superb design
    I purchased this in full grain black leather for my father, after a different bag which he'd purchased became anathema to him. I told him, "You don't need to look around for the right bag; I will give you the perfect bag for Christmas." When this messenger bag arrived, my father was speechless for a good 20 seconds as he absorbed its distinct and supple aroma, the beauty and texture of the leather, the fine design of the whole bag. Then came his appreciative comments. I know this bag will serve him for a lifetime, and gain character over the years. It's exactly as I expected - Maxwell Scott leather goods have always pleased my eye and all the senses, and this is no exception. There's plenty of room, with lots of compartments. It has an elegant yet rugged look to it, very masculine. The Italian leather shows not only that the leather itself is of the finest quality, but also the workmanship is of commensurately fine standard. Everything about this bag is superb. Recommended without hesitation.

    Can I send my gift directly to the recipient’s address?

    Yes - there are no receipts to remove as we are now paperless, ensuring your gifting experience remains special. If you’ve chosen our gift-wrapping service, we can also personalize the notecard for you. Please enter your personal message in the box on the product page when selecting gift wrap as an option and we will hand write your message with care.

    N.B. Please note that if payment is made with an American Express Card, the delivery can only be made to the billing address for the card. This is required of us by American Express.

    Can my loved one exchange their gift for another colour or style?

    We’re sure they’ll love it, however just to offer you that peace of mind, we gladly accept exchanges and returns within 60 days of receipt of goods. This excludes personalized items that cannot be returned.

    How soon can my order be delivered?

    For UK orders, Next Working Day Delivery is free or Timed Next Working Day Delivery is available at a small cost. For US orders, Standard Delivery free or Express Delivery is available at a small cost. For AUS orders, there is only the option of Express Delivery, which is free. Kindly note that personalized gifts will take 24-48 hours longer to process and be delivered, even if the Next Working Day or Express Delivery is selected. Personalized orders will be sent on the selected delivery service once the personalization has been applied to the product.

    How will my gift be presented?

    We pay attention to every detail, ensuring that all of our products are carefully wrapped and attentively presented as standard, with our Maxwell-Scott monogrammed tissue paper and emblem sticker. To add an extra special touch, we offer a gift wrapping service to professionally wrap your gifts with luxury, environmentally friendly materials. This additional service can be applied to your order for USD$16.00. Smaller goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box wrapped in bespoke matte-finish navy paper, ribbon and gift card. Larger goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box, finished with ribbon and a gift card. Our premium quality gift wrap is made using 70% recycled materials, FSC certified paper and is fully biodegradable and compostable.

    Positioning

    The placement of the lettering is unique to each product, our professional in-house embossing team uses their skill and experience to determine the very best placement according to the product. You’ll be able to find an example of the lettering positioning within the imagery on each product page.

    Additionally, if you have any further questions regarding the positioning of the letters or how many letters will fit on a specific product please contact us via the Contact Us page.

    Pricing

    The price for embossing is a $20 flat fee for up to 6 characters. If you require specialised personalization with more than 6 characters or complex positioning, we can arrange this as a bespoke option with additional costs incurred.     Please note that our Croco leather cannot be embossed due to the textured finish of the leather.

    Ordering & Delivering

    Due to the bespoke nature of our premium in-house embossing process, please allow an additional 48h for personalized items, particularly during busy periods. Where possible, we will endeavour to send out your items within the first 24 hours. Please note that unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items that have been personalized as they have been uniquely crafted to meet your specifications. If you’re unsure, we’re more than happy for you to purchase an item and return it to us to be embossed, once you are pleased with your purchase.     Often imitated but never matched, our high-quality full-grain Vachetta leather is unrivalled due to three essential components:
    1. HIDES - we source only European hides reared in perfect conditions, ensuring tough and durable leather with a quality finish.
    2. TANNING PROCESS - we use a natural centuries-old technique of vegetable-tanning which is both organic and sustainable.
