Soon-To-Be Husband & Wife: Meghan and Harry

The Cream Crombie Coat

We absolutely love this charming, sophisticated ensemble that Meghan Markle wore to a special service to mark Commonwealth Day. The service took place at Westminster Abbey, and Meghan demonstrated that she could easily pull off formal, appropriate dress, combined with fashion-forward elements. Wearing a cream Crombie coat by British designer Amanda Wakeley, Meghan looked every inch the elegant royal. Accessorising the stunning coat with a matching beret and a navy clutch bag, Meghan’s outfit exuded style, finesse and modernity.

Peeping out from underneath the statement coat was a minimalistic, midi dress in black, tailored just above the knee. Classy yet understated, this outfit echoed the simple elegance of many of Kate Middleton’s public appearance ensembles. Combined with pointed navy heels, this gorgeous outfit could easily be worn to the office, a christening or any other formal event.

Opt for a classy clutch in chestnut tan leather to complement a cream coat. The Santino S is the perfect choice: compact, stylish and high quality, it’s the ideal fit for the smart, modern woman.

Two-Tone Navy & White

Any item worn by Meghan Markle is bound to sell out online and in stores. This outfit was no exception. Stepping out in a two-tone coat by J Crew, layered over an AllSaints white cowl-neck jumper, Meghan sent keen-eyed fashion followers into a frenzy. The coat is now sold out, but not to worry: many British designers are pushing their own version of the chic navy and white coat. Featuring a wraparound design with a belt tied at the waist, this look is as cozy as it is classy. A must to combat the ever-chilly British weather.

Again, we see Meghan in her go-to choice of footwear: the pointed, stiletto shoe. Matching her cropped, tailored pants, this time her pointed heels were of a black hue, keeping it simple and sophisticated. The overall look was powerful, elegant and feminine – the perfect outfit for International Women’s Day, as she’s pictured here, taking a trip to Birmingham.

Instead of navy, try clashing with a fashion-forward, cross-body bag in a bright, petrol hue. The Medolla M is ideal for every day wear, and is impossibly stylish.

Wide Checks & Flares

It doesn’t come as much of a surprise that Meghan’s outfits tend to revolve around outerwear. After all, British weather is notoriously formidable. Here, for her trip to Edinburgh, Meghan wears a dark green and navy, double-breasted Burberry coat in cashmere-blend. We particularly loved the exposed buttons here and the favored loose silhouettes. Note the exaggerated, long length of the coat that extends past Meghan’s knees and is oh so stylish. Styled with an inky black roll-neck and flared Veronica Beard pants, Meghan created a look that is serious AW18 goals.

A nod to Scottish heritage with the tartan patterned coat, Meghan notably replicated Kate Middleton’s choice of style for her own visit to Scotland. Kate has sported tartan on the numerous occasions that she has been to Scotland, once wearing a chic gray and navy tartan coat that was praised by the public. She’s also been spotted in a dark green and navy tartan midi dress, not dissimilar to Meghan’s long Burberry coat.

Meghan loves a cross-body bag, and so do we. Try The Lucca shoulder bag in night black for a sleek, sophisticated look – the rich, leather exterior will look amazing paired with tartan.

Casual Denim & Tan Leather

Last but not least, this chic outfit worn by Meghan is the epitome of business-casual style. Opting for a crisp white shirt, laid-back ripped denim jeans and soft tan leather ballet pumps, this outfit is a far cry from Meghan’s trademark sophisticated midi coat and pointed heel ensembles. Whether relaxed or formal, Meghan Markle has proved that she’s a style icon across the board. Move over Kate Middleton: it’s clear that Meghan’s trend-setting outfits are a huge hit with the public, and for good reason.

Accessorising with dark sunglasses and a large, chestnut tan leather tote bag, Meghan perfected the dressed-down look for the Invictus Games in Toronto, September 2017. A great outfit for both East Coast and West Coast fashionistas, this look is as timeless as it is on-trend. Perfect for SS18, or those chillier months in sunny California.

For a look that rivals Meghan’s, try The Athenea in chestnut tan. Functional and stylish, this gorgeous tote bag will easily carry your look from the boardroom to the bar.
