    Two decades have passed, and we are still committed to using our unique, unparalleled Vachetta leather that only one tannery possesses the precise formula to produce. Our prestigious leather is certified by the Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium, a certificate of quality awarded to less than 1.5% of Italian tanneries. By showcasing their trademark and quality assurance, we honor the heritage of skilled artisans.
    Finest Full-Grain Vachetta Leather
    Often imitated but never matched, our high-quality full-grain Vachetta leather is unrivalled due to three essential components:
    1. HIDES - we source only European hides reared in perfect conditions, ensuring tough and durable leather with a quality finish.
    2. TANNING PROCESS - we use a natural centuries-old technique of vegetable-tanning which is both organic and sustainable.
    3. TANNERY - Our tannery is based in the heart of Tuscany, arguably the best region in the world. It has been awarded countless awards and delivers some of the 1.5% best leather in Italy. These factors combine to yield a premium, durable leather with exceptional visual appeal.
    A Unique Patina
    As time passes, a captivating patina will develop, subtly transforming its colour and aesthetic as it gracefully weathers the elements, a highly desirable characteristic of pure untreated leather, leaving a legacy of its journey. Unwanted marks and surface scratches can be effortlessly removed due to our slow process of drum-dying the leather all the way through, unlike faster methods of hand and surface dyeing. Our deep, earthy tanned leather is of unparalleled quality, allowing it to retain its natural strength, character, and properties without any alterations or corrections. In contrast, coated full-grain leather loses its appeal as it ages in as little as 12 months.
    Sustainably Tanned With Chestnut Trees
    We're committed to using a centuries-old technique that has remained unchanged for thousands of years. The process of vegetable tanning requires considerable time and patience, as our hides immerse themselves in drums for 60 days. We’ve always believed that the reward of sustainable, premium leather is worth the wait. With only 10-12% of the world's leather being vegetable-tanned due to quicker and cheaper methods of tanning becoming more prevalent, we are proud to honor the traditions and legacy of authentic leather craft passing the exceptional benefits onto our customers.

    Italian Leather Large Business Tote

    As a quality large pebbled leather women's large work tote, the Cento is designed to maintain a smart look with plenty of space for all of your daily essentials. With this, the Cento marries functionality with style. This large ladies work tote features a long zip fastening that slips into a push clasp buckle for added security. This opens to a large main cotton-lined compartment that can comfortably accommodate a 15" laptop as well as A4 files, a notebook and diary for example. Moreover, there are two slip pockets and one zipped pocket within the cotton lining for any items that you may prefer to keep separate. This means that despite the Cento's being a large women's premium leather work tote, you will be able to remain organized day after day. It is finished with two sturdy carry handles and pads on the base of the tote to protect against wear and tear. In this way, each aspect of the Cento is considered to reflect the impeccable workmanship of our skilled artisans.
