    This was a gift for my father-in-law for his 75th birthday. Quality is excellent and the smell when opening the carefully wrapped packet was amazing. It brought tears to his eyes. Customer services was what eveyone hopes for these days, prompt, honest and delivered on the promises. I ordered 3 items at the same time, 2 were in stock but a belt was not. I was contacted immediatly to inform me of this and a written note was sent to my father in-law to inform it would be with him shortly. Very happy and will use Maxwellscott again.

    Absolutely beautiful wash bag. As always with an Internet purchase you never quite know if the item will meet your expectations and this item most certainly did. It's the perfect size, a lovely colour and has a clever opening that allows full access to the whole bag when open but is neat and compact when closed. It also has a beautiful quality finish and smells amazing. I bought it for my husband for his 34th birthday and he was delighted with it. I highly recommend this wash bag and think it would suit men of all ages as its a timeless style and from first impressions looks as if it will last a very long time.

    My wife bought this leather washbag for me as a birthday present back in May. I love the size, feel, quality and leather of the washbag, but I have to say that the way it closes and the running of the zip are not as brilliant as I have come to expect of other MS items I have bought. The zip is a bit coarse and doesn't run particularly freely and the way that the zip has to go over a 90 degree 'hump' when the bag closes is not ideal either.

    The old saying 'buy once, cry once' is an apt one for quality items such as this - a beautiful leather wash bag for travel that should last a lifetime. Craftsmanship is top tier, the leather looks and feels exactly as I'd imagined it and I'm very happy with this purchase - not my first purchase from Maxwell Scott, and it won't be my last.

    Bought this wash bag for my husband, It is excellently made, lovely and big to fit everything in stays open so you can see your things so you don't have to rummage around, put my husband initials on it so it's personalised. The structure stays firm so it stays like the picture above. I know it can be a bit pricey but believe me, it is well worth it. And I love the smell of the leather. Very pleased with this purchase.

    Can I send my gift directly to the recipient’s address?

    Yes - there are no receipts to remove as we are now paperless, ensuring your gifting experience remains special. If you’ve chosen our gift-wrapping service, we can also personalize the notecard for you. Please enter your personal message in the box on the product page when selecting gift wrap as an option and we will hand write your message with care.

    N.B. Please note that if payment is made with an American Express Card, the delivery can only be made to the billing address for the card. This is required of us by American Express.

    Can my loved one exchange their gift for another colour or style?

    We’re sure they’ll love it, however just to offer you that peace of mind, we gladly accept exchanges and returns within 60 days of receipt of goods. This excludes personalized items that cannot be returned.

    How soon can my order be delivered?

    For UK orders, Next Working Day Delivery is free or Timed Next Working Day Delivery is available at a small cost. For US orders, Standard Delivery free or Express Delivery is available at a small cost. For AUS orders, there is only the option of Express Delivery, which is free. Kindly note that personalized gifts will take 24-48 hours longer to process and be delivered, even if the Next Working Day or Express Delivery is selected. Personalized orders will be sent on the selected delivery service once the personalization has been applied to the product.

    How will my gift be presented?

    We pay attention to every detail, ensuring that all of our products are carefully wrapped and attentively presented as standard, with our Maxwell-Scott monogrammed tissue paper and emblem sticker. To add an extra special touch, we offer a gift wrapping service to professionally wrap your gifts with luxury, environmentally friendly materials. This additional service can be applied to your order for USD$16.00. Smaller goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box wrapped in bespoke matte-finish navy paper, ribbon and gift card. Larger goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box, finished with ribbon and a gift card. Our premium quality gift wrap is made using 70% recycled materials, FSC certified paper and is fully biodegradable and compostable.

    Positioning

    The placement of the lettering is unique to each product, our professional in-house embossing team uses their skill and experience to determine the very best placement according to the product. You’ll be able to find an example of the lettering positioning within the imagery on each product page.

    Additionally, if you have any further questions regarding the positioning of the letters or how many letters will fit on a specific product please contact us via the Contact Us page.

    Pricing

    The price for embossing is a $20 flat fee for up to 6 characters. If you require specialised personalization with more than 6 characters or complex positioning, we can arrange this as a bespoke option with additional costs incurred. Please contact us for a bespoke quote via email at [email protected] or call us on 917 795 4392.

    Please note that our Croco leather cannot be embossed due to the textured finish of the leather.

    Ordering & Delivering

    Due to the bespoke nature of our premium in-house embossing process, please allow an additional 48h for personalized items, particularly during busy periods. Where possible, we will endeavour to send out your items within the first 24 hours. Please note that unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items that have been personalized as they have been uniquely crafted to meet your specifications. If you’re unsure, we’re more than happy for you to purchase an item and return it to us to be embossed, once you are pleased with your purchase.
